Hotel Kloster-Gasthof Speinshart

This is a hidden gem located next to a beautiful monastery. The dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the staff was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning as well.

Location, service, food!

I booked at last minute and my room had two twin beds with a small table. No complaints but it was not suited for a business traveller. I made it work.

The Guesthouse is very unique, it is situated amidst beautiful Bavarian grass fields in a former monastery. The rooms are well-furnished, simple and stylish. The hotel also has a great Bavarian restaurant with good selection of local beer. In general, the place is quite and tranquil. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to rest and relax.

If you are traveling with public transport, this is not a suitable location, very distant.

The location is okay but due to Monday there is no staff at the site

Arriving and being THE ONLY person in the hotel.

The place and the surrounding building is amazing.

Unfortunately I travelled to this hotel when the staff was not there. Self check-in was not difficult at all. But the day after, I could not meet anybody in the hotel, but the hotel maid. No information was given for the breakfast, and no bill was done at the check-out. I am not a fan of this sort of hotel accommodation.

The location is good and it is very quiet at the Kloster. Parking.

The curtains were not dark enough to keep the room darker. There are absolutely no hooks in the room or in the bathroom to hang i.e., towels, etc. I had the same comments from our last stay at the Kloster.

Beautiful location in monastery area. Welcoming reception. Lovely restaurant.
