lovely old house with plenty of space, full kitchen facilities and some board games to spend time with family, 15-20 mins walk to york city centre, me and my family really enjoy our stay

got way too many msg from the host and also booking.com notification, not able to keep checking as i were travel around, don't know i will need to pay an upfront £150 deposit to get the door code ,end up wait in front of the house for good 45 mins before host got my payment(online transfer) and happily send over the code, even i already paid for two night accomodation fee via booking.com. Not the best check in experience i would say, not with my 70y/o mum who desperately needed the toilet while we were waiting on the street in direct sunlight with no where to sit.

The property was very clean and tidy. The location was handy to the centre of York. The area was quiet. supermarkets very near

Disappointed that the staff that were there on our rival said that we would receive a text giving us the key safe number and password for WiFi. We needed WiFi for work purposes, so that was a bit inconvenient.
