Kaoko Mopane Lodge & Campsite

Lodge was comfortable. When is full operated this camsite is probablly great.

During our stay here, everything except our room, was quite dirty. Dinner nothing special. Expensive for what you get.

really worn out and not comfortable, we had water leaking on our bed from the ceiling … the only positive point is the staff very nice, and on top the guide who brings us to the Himba village. food is simple but okay

we just stayed a night, as we were on our way to the coast. the location is nice and they put some effort into the location. As we were camping the whole time we just needed a room for once to get a good rest. unfortunately the rooms are very stifling and have no good air. bed are comfortable and showers good

The place is beautiful and clean, the team was very friendly. The food was good.

The price was really to expensive for what it was. Traveling around Namibia we had other hotels that were less expensive and beautiful as well.. We had a cold shower...which for the price wasn't normal..

A really lovely place to stay. Spacious, private, and bright rooms with a wonderful view. The owners and staff are both kind and engaging. Almost every night I was there I met friendly and interesting people from all over the world—the owners really do make you feel at home and create a conducive environment for relaxed socializing, which I thought was perfectly well-balanced with the quiet privacy the lodge offers its guests. Very charming and will definitely be back!

Amazing place to stay! Beautiful scenery, spacious and bright rooms with comfortable beds. The pool was a great bonus in the hot weather. Highlight were the owners and staff - very much felt like staying with family, happy to help out with any details. Only sad there wasn't time to go on the many excursions they offered!
