Highwood Park B&B Guest Lodge

David was very welcoming and a wonderful host . The room was beautifully furnished, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic - probably the best scrambled eggs we've ever had ! That was in addition to the soft boiled egg with toast soldiers, fruit, juice , croissants and muffins....we didn't need lunch ! A quiet peaceful location with wonderful views - a great place to unwind from the stress of city life.

david is an excellent host. we appreciated the traditional heritage feel of the room.

the access road needs to be addressed by council as its not small car friendly. this is really out of the control of the lodge but did impact us being in a hatchback

The pictures don’t do the location justice! So beautiful and quaint, the rooms were huge and cozy at the same time. The hosts were very gentlemanly and offered us all a delicious glass of red wine in genuine crystal glasses on our arrival, made us the best scrambled eggs and breakfast we’ve had at a B&B (omg just so good), and they were just overall very lovely and welcoming. Also a special shout out to the decor! Also our TV in our must have been the biggest I’ve ever seen. We all wished we stayed a few extra days, it was def a highlight of our trip!

Beautiful view and secluded location away from traffic on top of a ridge. Great sized room. David was a wonderful host and made us a filling, delicious breakfast the next morning.

Great views, a peaceful and quiet stay, and genuinely friendly hosts. The location was convenient, the breakfast was delicious, and the selection of DVDs was a thoughtful touch for entertainment. Overall, a really comfortable and enjoyable experience.

It’s also a great spot if you’re looking to properly switch off and enjoy a more unplugged experience, as the signal can be a bit patchy at times (especially on rainy days). The drive up is a little winding with some gravel sections, but it adds to the sense of getting away from it all. Overall, a really relaxing and enjoyable stay.
