Kuranda Ngorongoro Lodge

Hosts were extremely welcoming, and the cottage, in their garden, was extremely comfortable. We made friends with some of the rescue birds and the musky-rat kanagaroos in the garden. It was a jungle experience of sorts. Very quiet. The self-cook breakfast was generous.

You definitely need a car to access the property in the outskirts of Kuranda, but we were warned in advance, so it was not a problem for us.

Wir wurden sehr gastfreundlich von Sue und Patrick empfangen. Die beiden waren unglaublich hilfsbereit und boten uns sofort ihre Unterstützung bei allen Fragen an. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten im Regenwald – sehr schön und absolut ruhig gelegen, perfekt zum Entspannen. Die Zimmer waren top ausgestattet und hatten alles, was man braucht. Zudem ist die Lage ideal, da sich viele Ausflugsziele in unmittelbarer Nähe befinden. Absolut empfehlenswert

L’appartamento è meraviglioso, non manca niente. Il letto era comodissimo e ho dormito molto bene. La terrazza è immersa nel verde della foresta, ricca di suoni e colori ed è veramente una chicca. I proprietari sono molto gentili! Tutto quello che hanno portato per colazione era molto ricco e buono, ho iniziato la mattina con grande gioia :) Se avessi potuto sarei rimasta lì per almeno una settimana ma purtroppo sono stata solo una notte.

The gardens are beautiful. The parking is close. Easy access. The lounge was cosy. The kitchen was well organised. The beds clean and very comfortable.

The cottage was spacious, very clean, well appointed, beautiful art work and a strong African feel. The property is like a rain forest and the hosts have a passion for animals and the environment. We enjoyed swimming in the small pool and talking to the hosts who have incredible stories of their travels around the world and in particular in Africa. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable. It is a great place to stay in Kuranda

Fantastic house in the rainforest. Visited for one night, Sue and Patrick are lovely. The cottage is great and has everything you’ll need and a lovely outdoor area. Will definitely remember this place for the great hospitality and kindness shown from Sue and Patrick (and Fritz and the little Roo’s)
