Hotel Villas Nicolas - Adults Only

Incredible stay, Dennis and Paula are such wonderful hosts and really make the effort to get to know the guests. The location was incredible with great views of the water and also so much wildlife just outside (Saw a sloth as I was checking in). I loved the large balcony in the room, very relaxing and a great spot to watch sunset, the pool was also great to cool down and parking was very convenient

Many reviews have commented on the breakfast but I think this is a pretty standard Costa Rican breakfast that many other hotels offer.

Wildlife in the garden (sloths, monkeys, maccaws, hummingbirds, agouti). Great pool area. Friendly staff. Terrace area for rooms. Well equipped rooms. Good location for many good restaurants.Free car parking.

Quite steep steps to rooms. Beaches are not really walkable. No shower screen.Booked 2 rooms but they were not together.

My room had a balcony with hammock and view of the jungle. I had visits by macaws, toucans and a monkey, which was incredible. It was the perfect place to relax and watch the jungle life, with close access to good restaurants and a small grocery store. I will definitely stay here again

The views! We saw monkeys, lapas.. we didn't want to leave our deck!! Howler monkeys woke us up at 4am. We'd just sit on the deck and listen to them!! Two different monkeys came through the grounds!

This place was amazing! Paula and Dennis were super helpful before and during the trip. The place was beautiful and perfect for my husband and I to enjoy my Birthday and our Anniversary. The rest of the staff was great as well. Wonderful location to local restaurants and a short bus ride to Manuel Antonio National Park and beach. The room was perfect and comfortable. We really enjoyed the patio with the view and being able to hear and see the monkeys. I highly recommend staying at this location.

Close to great restaurants, great views, beautiful pool, spacious room.

Limited choice on breakfast.

Every evening at around 4pm tens of monkeys would parade across the tree line outside our room and would visit us on the balcony. AND, a pair of macaws lived in a tree next to our room! Spectacular wildlife on the property. Also, Arlo the cat was an excellent maî·tre d'hô·tel.

We had to leave, eventually. This isn't about the hotel, but walking on the side of the road was tricky because the sidewalk coverage is spotty. Take the public bus to the beach and back for about 60 cents per ride.
