Hotel & Gasthof zur Post

Tadellos.

The room was spacious, the bathroom was clean and modern.

We arrived in the pouring rain on our motorbikes to read a note on the front door that the hotel was closed (for about a week or 2) for holiday... This was never mentioned on Booking nor on the website of the hotel. When I wanted to phone the hotel I saw a had a missed call. When phoning back, the lady on the phone said she would send somebody. After a while a young man opened the door. We got our 3 keys and asked at what time they served breakfast. There was no breakfast. We asked if they had a restaurant. He answered yes. When we asked at what time the restaurant was open, he answered that it was closed... When we asked where we could park our motorbikes in a safe place, he told us we could park behind the hotel and gave us directions. When we arrived at the back, we saw the young man again with a couple and a guest on a bicycle. The man of the couple was opening several garage doors to show the cyclist where he could park his bicycle. My 72 year old friend asked if we could park our bikes in one of the garages too. He was ordered by the man: 'Wait I'm busy'. The man, wearing a hoody over his head an having his sleeves rolled up to show his muscular forearms, came to stand 20 cm in front of my friend and asked 'What do you want?' He looked more like an Albanian bouncer of a night club, then a hotel manager. My friend asked again if it would be possible to park our motorbikes in one of the garages. The man started a stare down

Ein Frühstück wurde nicht angeboten, was für ein Hotel doch eher ungewöhnlich erscheint. Zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung erhielt ich keinen Hinweis auf den geschlossenen Gasthof.
