Location was great. Cabin was beautifully made. Amenities in the cabin were good.

Bed was uncomfortable and had a plastic sheet on the mattress which made it noisy.

Beautiful spot, friendly ranger staff, felt safe.

The deep stair ladder to loaf, wifi was pretty much never working and the shower knob was broken, had to be careful with it and cabin door would not work for us to lock it when we went out.

"All in all the stay was peaceful and wonderful. We always try and make do with what we find."

Great location, right on the water!

Disinfectant and cleaning supplies not provided as described. Coaxial cable on TV broken. Dead battery in DVD remote. Upstairs fan broken. We brought personal towels expecting to find kitchen towels. If not provided that should also be noted on the rental agreement.

The location was stunning. The view from the lodge was across Porteau Cove. However, there were approximately 20 - 30 seals lying on a platform, which was wonderful to see, but goodness me, they were noisy - all day and night! The lodge was solidly built and quirky. A bbq was provided, plus a gas burner for sitting next to on chilly evenings. Sadly, it rained constantly so we weren't able to enjoy it.

When travelling from another country, with limited baggage allowance, it would have been nice to have bedding and towels. There weren't even any pillows! So we ended up using the cushions from the sofa. Thank goodness my cousin helped us out. The excuse that they've been removed because of Covid is very lame! The master bedroom is in the roof of the lodge, which sounds wonderful, however, to get up to it is by a steep ladder. This would be exciting, but at the top, you have to duck passed the steep sides of the roof. Plus, when you're of a certain age, there is a need to make frequent trips to the bathroom during the night. Negotiating the ladder would have been quite dangerous.
