Porteau Cove Olympic Legacy Cabins

Beautiful view, lovely cabin, clean and accessible to the beach.

Stunning views, the deck was so beautiful and great to spend time on!

The kitchen was more bare and basic than I was expecting.

My family was there when first built in 2010, cabins are still in good condition. Only difference is no more bedding after Covid. Easy check in/out. Very private property and nice view. Close to Whistler.

Kitchen equipment/ utensils can be more cleaned. No extra garbage bags.

Booking told me there would be towels, there was not. The main bedroom had significant difficulties. I am 6"2 and the ladder to the loft required me to be on my hands and knees with little room to navigate. This was actually painful and I would have brought a padding to help.

Seals were very noisy. Bring a speaker to drown the noise for sleep.

I liked the location. I didn't meet any staff, but it was fine not to. I like the cabin.

The Sea Lions barked all day and all night. We did not sleep and didn't stay the second night that we paid for, but there were no refunds on the stay. I wish I could have a refund for the second night at least. I will not recommend this place to anyone. I was on medical leave from work to rest and thought to be by the seaside would be the best thing to do. The barking of the Sea Lions was depressing and we didn't enjoy anything because of it. I didn't feel safe going up or down the ladder to the loft. There was food in the sink drain plug and debris on the ladder from dirty shoes when we arrived.

the cabin is great, clean and quite place.

Was expecting a better pathway to the beach. If we could suggest to clean and properly add landscape in the area to add private pathway for both cabins it would add much value to the facility. Also, it would be nice if satellite tv was connected :-)
