Fish River Lodge

The lodge and its impressive location is a Must-see on very Namibian trip. Absolutely outstanding, combined with friendly staff, very good chefs and an infinte pool that takes your breath away.

During the nights the wind is extremly loud. Ear plugs inevitable!!!!!

Beautiful view, great pool overlooking the Canyon. Top personnel going the extra mile. We had a flat tire which the repaired at no charge to us! Sundowner was amazing ... Room was clean and spacious. The photos are an understatement of this amazing property.

The staff, the service the views. Everything is beyond what we expected. We are already planning our next visit which will definitely be longer to include games drives and canyon walks.

I do not think that anything could have been better.

Amazing , private , beautiful and luxurious

The rooms had no air conditioning, which made it unbearable at night in summer . We changed room and would have liked all rooms to have the same shower head. Warn guests prior to the trip about possible issues along the way and that most of the trip would be on a gravel road and that a 4x4 may be advisable. We mentioned that we would arrive between 17-18:00. We got stuck along the way and would have appreciated someone coming to look for us ( considering the lodge was aware of one particular point of inconvenience. Also, advise guests to message when leaving the Tar road onto grave, . Reception in most of the area is non-existent. Kingklip in the desert is not advisable as the only non vegetarian option for dinner. The steak we had for lunch would have been perfect for dinner . Pan fried frozen fish fillets cooked to the consistency of overcooked chicken is not advisable
