Very nice setting in a game farm.

The place is showing signs of neglect - they should have a look at maintenance.

The premises was lovely and kid friendly. At reception there is an outdoor pool with slide, heated indoor pool, Boma, animals for the kids to look at and an outdoor play area. The chalet where we stayed was spacious and had a lovely view and private braai area. We had a friendly peacock come visit us and the kids fed it a few crumbs. The unit has the essential utensils and linen required.

The stove is a gas stove, so please remember to bring along a lighter or matches, otherwise it'll be tricky to make a cuppa joe in the morning. The aircon is a bit small for the area but the temperatures do drop late at night so it wasn't an issue. Be aware that at least 10 km (of the 40km from Gobabis) to the lodge is dirt road and needs to be traveled slowly. It is not very close to Gobabis, so come with time to spare (minimum 30 to 40 min drive)

Location. We went for a day trip to Gobabis. Was a bit far. But for a weekend stay it’s PERFECT!

Good setting on a farm

Way too far from the main road for a transit travel option. No microwave or frying pan in a selfcatering unit away from everything. Very dark unit inside - not to our liking. Very rustic farm stay.
