the lack of honesty of the staff. The hotel had a fire after my reservation. In 4 months they did not contact me to tell me. They are also not honest with other people since old photos continue to appear and are not true, and they have a price that is not in line with what they offer now. I had more problems with them for the same reason although for me we are at peace.

"It was a good end to a three-week safari."

The rooms were tidy and well decorated.

It takes a lot of time to drive to the lodge and to move between the buildings.

We arrived and could not find reception to check in. Asked someone to point us in the right direction. Finally told to go to the Chapel located on the property. We then found out the reason for not being able to find the main reception building - it had burnt down in June 2023! The owners are now using the Chapel for check-in/reception , for serving meals and the bar is also located here. We had a long journey to get there, and we were so looking forward to sitting on the beautiful deck for a sunset drink. The Booking.com site still has all the pictures and facilities listed - but none here now. This is VERY misleading, and frankly not acceptable. It is unfortunate that the building burnt down - but then PLEASE amend your Booking.com site!
