The views were stunning. The breakfast was tasty, although we were surprised that we were charged for coffee given the daily rate we paid. The staff member was very friendly and accommodating.

We were informed the day before our arrival that access to the property was only by a 4x4 vehicle. We were also only told just before we arrived that there were only 2 nominated times during the day that we could come and go without paying extra for the 4x4. However, guests can choose to walk down the steep, rough driveway and catch a tuk tuk from the road which the host can arrange. The host cannot speak any English which may be a challenge for guests who cannot speak Spanish. Carrying bags from the 4x4 to the room up steep stairs may be difficult for some people. The room we were given was a dormitory. Our bed was almost as hard as the tiled floor. There were mosquitoes in the room, although no fly spray was available. In our view, the property was not good value for money. We compared the price of Casa Navito with properties in the Jardin Village. Guests pay a lot of money for the wonderful view.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa NATIVO, and it was an unforgettable experience. The property is absolutely beautiful and exudes a peaceful ambiance that makes it the perfect retreat. Our hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The meals were a highlight of our stay – both the breakfast and dinner were delicious, featuring fresh, local ingredients that made every bite delightful. We also loved having the company of the animals on the property, which added a charming and homely touch to our stay.

A once in a lifetime experience you will not forget. I highly recommend booking Casa Nativo. Surrounded by nature and the most stunning sunsets I have ever seen. If you are looking to unwind and relax this place is for you. All the staff are so kind and make you feel like home. I hope to be able to visit again 💗

This place was magical!! Highly recommend if you travel to Jardin. the hotel is beautiful and staff are wonderful. Excellent home cooked dinners are available to order all were exceptional.

We saved the best for last. Our stay at Casa Nativo was the highlight of our Colombia trip. Not only the stunning architecture and surroundings (we never saw so many different exotic birds as we did here) but mainly the lovely and caring personalities of Daniela, her mother Ana and Diana. It's a bit like spending time with family. In our entire trip, the beautiful terrace overlooking the jungle is where we found the most peace and felt closest to nature. We also visited the coffee finca of the parents of Diana up the hill. We would come back to Colombia only to stay at this magical place!

The staff is unbelievably helpful and friendly, even with our poor Spanish. They make you feel like family. There's an adorable kitten and dog who are best friends. The view is so beautiful. You feel as though you're in a tree house. It's quiet apart from the sound of birds. Incredibly peaceful and just a short drive to Jardin in the 4x4. It is very easy to schedule with the hotel. The food was delicious, and they catered to my gluten allergy. You leave feeling loved and sad that your time is over.

The beds are small and not overly comfortable. There are no reading lights by the bed, just the overhead. There's no fan in the room, and the windows don't open. My partner and I both run warm, so we were hot in a small bed together. Despite this probably being our least comfortable room on our trip to Colombia, it's the first place I'd return to and the one I'll miss most. This place is special. Do yourself a favor and see for yourself.

This place is amazing! It was our best stay across our Central and South America trip. We loved that it has panoramic views of the wildlife and mountains. The furniture across multiple terraces was comfortable and inviting. We loved how plants and design was integrated with environment outside. High quality beds and linens. The food was very fresh and tasty. The staff and service was wonderful. We also loved exploring the local Jardin and nearby rural roads.
