Casa NATIVO

The hotel is located high up a mountain. Only way up is in a 4x4 on a dirt road. Once there - you are in paradise. You are sitting in the skies and on the tree tops. The hotel is beautiful designed and integrates into the wild. Monica and Diana are wonderful hostesses. The food they prepare is amazing and organic. Daniella, the owner, is very accommodating. You just have to plan your day around the 4x4s that checkin or checkout guests. However, Daniella can arrange for a truck at anytime for a cost of less than 10 US dollars. I can’t say enough about this hotel. You must experience it.

We absolutely loved feeling surrounded in nature from the moment of our arrival. The view and place is spectacular! (even better than the photos!) We were able to be close to Jardin, with also enjoying a taste of the nature outside. We were amazed with wonderful the service was, and making modifications for our young baby, the delicious food, and even the welcoming drink as a first impression as we relaxed from the arrival. The place carries a welcoming energy all the way from the kitchen to the shared spaces. It's truly a wonderful place to stay! 10/10.

Although it seemed difficult getting a jeep and the short yet bumpy ride to the top, the owners did a wonderful job in programming our transport- which is also relatively cheap from the pueblo.

What a joy it was to stay at Casa Nativo. The entire team made us feel welcomed the moment we walked through the door. As mentioned in other reviews, staying in the mountains was the highlight of our trip to Jardin. The property is stunning and very relaxing. Lots of birds to watch from the property's decks for those who enjoy them. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Good water pressure. Strong wifi. The meals (breakfast & dinner) were very tasty. We appreciated Daniela and her team's flexibility to assure that all our meals were vegetarian. The jeep ride up to the property was a fun experience although you can easily walk the steep dirt driveway down to the property entrance to catch a tuk tuk as well. To note, if you happen to have a car you'll need to park it in one of the overnight paid parking lots in Jardin. The cost was 24,000 COP/24 hrs. You then just need to coordinate a jeep ride to the hotel (30,000 COP) or catch a tuk tuk (10,000 COP) to the property's driveway and walk the remainder. The hotel crew are more than happy to help you coordinate these rides. Would highly recommend staying at Casa Nativo.

The walkway to the hotel looks a bit risky. If you don't book Jeep, it is a heavy duty climbing work!

The payment method

Great property with amazing views. Very nice and helpful owner and amazing lady Diana that is helping with the house and taking care of the guests. We will miss her hospitality and best breakfast we had in Colombia so far. Waking up with the best coffee plantation views and the singing of the most colorful birds - a bliss. Thank you Daniela and Diana!

If you want to feel all the love and warmth of a family from Antioquia, stay here, you will feel like a king, and other than that the hotel is excellent, I enjoyed everything

The architecture and the views were both amazing. We found ourselves enjoying to stay on the property rather than go into the town. Everyone Danielle and Matt the owners to Diana and Monica, who prepared the meals, were very kind and authentic.

It would’ve been nice if there were a few nice walking trails surrounding the property as it was so beautiful, with many fruit and coffee plants nearby.
