The setting is the star here. Beautiful woodland area with a river running through it. Agi and Guido are amazing hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Agi arranged for a guide (Hernán) to meet us in Parque Santa Rosa, and we had a wonderful walk with him spotting all kinds of creatures. Also, Playa Rajada (40 minutes drive) recommended by Guido really is the best beach in the area. Breakfasts were delicious too. We were sad to leave!

Super comfortable and relaxing place. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Great hiking trails. Wonderful break for a few days from the beaches. Highly recommended.

Really friendly owners, accomodation is in an amazing location with walks straight from the accommodation. Breakfast was super and definitely worth getting it, kept us going all day. Would definitely stay again.

The pace was easy to find, clean, and comfortable. Beautiful and quiet surroundings, and our kids loved the dogs. We were heading to Nicaragua, and this place was only 15 min from Peñas Blancas. After the long drive from Uvita, we were able to take a nice walk with our dog and kiddos. It felt like we were the only ones there! We let the owner know that we would like dinner that night, so we showed up at 7 as asked, and our table was already set for us. I felt kind of bad cause we were the only ones there for dinner!! We had a pretty good steak, vegetable and salad... this was a great option for us because we didn't have to drag our kids out late to eat. We were able to put drinks and things in the fridge, the shower had hot water, and the AC was nice because it was really humid with not a whole lot of airflow. We enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the goings on of the night and the river below us. This is a great place to stay! We have nothing bad to say about it.

Loved it so much. The owners are lovely and kind. They cook amazing meals. This place is not luxurious, so not fir every traveler, but if you like to be surrounded by nature, it is a perfect place. My daughter and I made special memories here. We saw howler and spider monkeys, sloths, so many types of butterflies. There are horses and goats and bunnies on the farm. And the two pet German shepherds are the best dogs I've met in a while.

This is not luxury, so the rooms while clean are not a Marriott Marquis. Accept this, and you will be happy. There are insects and dirt, which are part of being in nature, but not everyone can deal.
