Lovely location. Beautiful garden. Had a lovely walk on the property.

I was unfortunately disappointed with my stay. The bathroom setup was uncomfortable, with only a shower sheet separating it from the bedroom, which did not offer sufficient privacy. Additionally, there was no warm water available on Sunday morning, and the shower itself was not in a clean condition. There were also very loud visitors during the stay. While I understand that this may not be entirely within the property’s control, clearer communication around noise policies or quiet hours would have been appreciated. Lastly, my interaction with the host was unpleasant. When I called to enquire, I was not given an opportunity to explain my reason for calling and was instead spoken to in a raised tone regarding visitors. I was more than willing to comply with the policy and did pay for the day visitors without any issue, but the manner in which this was handled was disappointing.

Left too early for breakfast. Lodge is in a nice setting away from town noises. Bed was very comfortable and bedding clean and fresh.

Guests in next room was loud and extremely noisy. Television was set loudly while at the same time shouting, arguing and laughing very loudly. Walls are thin between rooms so noise carries clearly between rooms. There were apparently no personnel at the lodge to control the situation.
