Bissa Villa

Only wish we could have stayed longer We needed a day to relax & this was the perfect place. Room has all you need, comfy, quiet, & in nature with the odd sound of a train, which I loved. The pool was sensational. Little way out of town but a tuk tuk is easily arranged for you. We chose to take a tuk tuk to go for an Ayurvedic massage nearby, which was fabulous. The food at the couple’s restaurant, The Train Stop was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far Best thing by far tho is the charming couple, Kaushi & Samitha who are the most delightful hosts

Loved everything

Fantastische plek met een heerlijk zwembad. Alles is goed schoon, mooie huisjes in een prachtige tuin. Perfecte plek om tot rust te komen met een prima ligging ten opzichte van de activiteiten in de buurt. Het eten is fantastisch en erg vers. Maar het meest bijzondere is het fantastische personeel en eigenaren. Deze mensen zijn zo vrijgevig vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam dat is echt uitzonderlijk.

Het ligt niet in een dorp of stad maar ligt prima naar de verschillende bezienswaardigheden.

Wij vonden de locatie super, heel relaxed. Ook eten (in het bijbehorende restaurant) en service waren fantastisch. Maar allerbeste zijn de eigenaren die ontzettend vriendelijk, enthousiast en betrokken zijn én met de exploitatie ook nog een eens aantal dorpsgenoten ondersteunen. Aanrader!

This is a wonderful, comfortable and well settled accommodation within the near jungle. Monkey, many species of birds and elephants can be found around and close this facilities, particularly elephants over night. It is a family owned business and we felt incredibly welcomed. The couple who own it are simply wonderful. They spend a lot of time with their guests.

Nothing. I appreciate that some people may not appreciate the near by railway. It did not bother us.

This is an amazing place. A few beautiful cabanas set in a lovely garden and a great swimming pool. The family that runs it is extremely friendly and helpful. They also run the nextdoor restaurant 'The Train Hut', which serves wonderful dinner and breakfast. The location is in the midst of jungle and paddyfields. Habarana is near to all the major sites - Sigiriya, Dambulla, Anuradhapura etc - so you can this a base for many daytrips. We had booked for four nights, but ended up staying for six. Truly recommended.

That we had to leave!

Ce logement et cette rencontre avec les hôtes, font partie de nos meilleurs souvenirs de vacances. Le lieu est conçu en harmonie avec la nature, avec tant de délicatesse et de charme. Nager dans la piscine en étant observé par la famille de singes qui habite les manguiers du jardin, c'est quand même quelque chose! La qualité du resto est aussi incroyable. Nous recommandons à 300%.

La nature s'invite aussi dans les chambres. Nous avons partagé notre salle de bain avec deux petites grenouilles qui logeaient dans la tuyauterie. Mais cela a son charme aussi! L'eau de la salle de bain était à peine tiède.

De accommodatie ligt prachtig, een heel goed onderhouden plek. Onder de oude mangobomen staan 4 mooie cabanas. Wij hadden er twee en er ontbrak ons aan niks. De eigenaren zijn bijzonder vriendelijk en hebben veel zorg voor de gasten en het eten. We hebben een wandeling met ze gemaakt, ze hebben ons in contact gebracht met een betrouwbare chauffeur die ons ook heeft meegenomen naar Minnerya NP. Ook onze kinderen hebben genoten van het mooie zwembad en de mooie plek.

L'emplacement était parfait pour nous puisque nous souhaitions prendre le train. La station est à 3 minutes de l'hôtel. L'accueil était top, très chaleureux. Le restaurant est très sympa aussi.

Rien de spécial

Ontvangst heel liefdevol. Kaushi is echt zo’n lieve vrouw, die opent haar hart voor de gasten. De accommodatie straalt rust en balans uit. De kamer is groot, schoon en liefdevol ingericht met een prima bed. Het zwembad is heerlijk en voorzien van ligstoelen. ‘S Avonds iedere dag heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant ‘The Train Hut’. Prima prijs-kwaliteit! Thanks!!!
