Bissa Villa

De vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer deden alles om het ons naar de zin te maken. Het eten was heerlijk. De locatie ligt erg centraal in de Culturele Driehoek e toch erg rustig. Het zwembad was heerlijk net als de ruime tuin.

We hadden 2 kamers. De eerste was erg ruim en comfortabel, de andere kamer was minder comfortabel. Vlak langs de locatie loopt een spoorlijn waar ook 's nachts treinen over komen.

I gestori sono molto gentili e ci hanno accolto con una piccola cerimonia di benedizione. Il giardino è ricco di piante e molto curato. Avevamo la camera al primo piano che era spaziosa e pulita con un bellissimo terrazzo ombreggiato dagli alberi di mango. Piscina blu immersa nel verde. Colazione fantastica con succo di papaya ed anguria, crepes di cocco e frutta del loro orto. Cene deliziose con cibi locali presso il piccolo ristorantino nella proprietà.

Very friendly owners, absolutely delicious food both at breakfast and dinner. They also helped us plan outings and organised transport and guides, all of whom were really nice. Highly recommended.

Wir wurden von einem reizenden jungen Ehepaar herzlich empfangen. Der schön eingerichtete Bungalow mit Terrasse war sehr einladend. Wir hatten sowohl ein feines Abendessen als auch ein sehr leckeres Frühstück. Die liebenswerte Konversation mit der Besitzerin und ein Pool rundeten unseren sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt ab. Ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Uns hat es sehr gefallen. Die Eigentümer haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns auch die Gegend (Reisfelder) gezeigt. Frühstück und Abendessen war sehr liebevoll angerichtet und sehr lecker. Ich hatte an diesem Ort mein bestes Kotu Roti in ganz Sri Lanka!

Perfect stay. The gardens and the pool are beautiful, tranquil, peaceful, I could stay here for any amount of time. Hosts are cute, sweet and helpful, loved their stories about what the various jungle animals get up to day to day. Shower worked well, there’s hot water & all. One of our best stays, honestly, much recommended.

We needed to air out the room when we got there, but it wasn’t a big problem. Hosts even gave us some matches so we could burn some incense for an extra jasmine fragrant room, haha.

Really comfortable and spacious rooms, lovely surroundings with all the trees and wildlife. Pool area a very welcome inclusion and very relaxing. The food was phenomenal, some of the best breakfasts we've had and the kottu was excellent! The hosts are so friendly, welcoming and helpful, highly recommend.

Nothing. If you're a light sleeper you might be disturbed by the train noise occasionally but this did not affect us.
