Poas Volcano Observatory Lodge & Glamping

It was a very unique experience. The location was excellent, walkable distance to the top of the volcano (although it's a fair hike up). Nice view out. Pick nick area with a fire pit. Really cute and pretty ground and pod decoration. Smart TV is a good add. It is a high up location and is very cold overnight. We were prepared with thermals and hot water bottle, had plenty of hot drinks with their coffee machine and we were fine. You can also rend a heater for $5. Also being a camping site, toilets in the pods are a bit basic and easily blocked. It was a great experience for a short stay.

Breakfast was great. OWner accommodated all of our needs.

Could have been a bit cleaner. Heaters should be providedat this time of year without having to make a request.

Clean, the hosts were very sweet and accommodating. Relaxing atmosphere

Hard to locate from the road. More signage would help, especially when driving east to west

Lovely setting and beautiful decor.

Heater helped but we had a stormy night and the wind did make the interior a bit cold. Lovely and warm under the blankets though.
