Beautiful area. Friendly staff. Free night walk which was wonderful and we had knowledgeable guides. Treehouse was beautiful.

Loved the breakfast and the location was fantastic.

The bathroom had some issues with flying ants, but nothing terrible.

Amazing experience for the entire family. Do NOT miss out on the night hike/tour (free, but I would tip - our guide was amazing). It was amazing how many animals we were able to see within a short walk: mama and baby sloth, armadillos, beautiful (& poisinous) tree frogs, tarantula, scorpions, and others. We hiked to the river the next morning. Beautiful walk and a memorable swim in the river at the end of the trail. Breakfast was amazing - food was fantastic and it was served in a secluded eating area in the midst of the jungle.

The cheerful and friendly staff made me feel very welcome from the moment i arrived. The breakfast was delicious and provided a great start to the day. I also really enjoyed the night hike which offered a unique opportunity to explore the area and the nocturnal creatures.

There was a couple of downsides one was the traffic was close by I could easily hear it and the trucks jake brakes and vehicle's horns woke me up a few times during the night. No Wifi at the house was probably the biggest downside as I scheduled my days as I went which meant I had to sit at the Rancho for hours doing research and also my work for the day without being able to do it in the privacy of my treehouse which would've been a lot more comfortable.

Kids were happy to stay there. The hotel has its own trail to hike.

None
