"Good quality and comfortable family hotel for a good price"

Teocalli is a family run quiet hotel and a gallery in an artsy town of Teotitlan del Valle. It is only 5 min walk from the art market with all the famous art crafts the town is famous for. The hotel is clean, safe and with lovely service. The price is pretty low for the quality of the hotel and for it location. If I ever go back to. Teotitlan del Valle, I would definitely like to go back to this lovely and comfortable and clean hotel. Oh, and last, but not least - I love the design and the esthetic of the room that uses the traditional hand-made in Teotitlan del Valle rugs, blankets and other crafts from that region (hand-made pottery from nearby villages).

"Very Pretty, budget no frills hotel, central location, nice staff."

Inexpensive hotel, central location, rooms surround a very pretty garden to sit that is pleasant to sit in. Staff very friendly and helpful (called me taxis) (but no English), excellent Wifi (I was able to stream movies). They had unlimited filtered hot and cold water which I really appreciated. Would stay again.

No hot water in the shower, towels very rough and scratchy

Stayed here for 2 days and was perfectly comfortable. Inexpensive place with no frills, lovely, quiet garden, clean and spacious room with natural light. The wifi was good, I was able to stream Netflix movies at night without and issue . No hot water when I was there, but no biggie for just 2 days. Very friendly and helpful staff (booked taxis for me) . No English spoken but I get by with google translate and pigeon spanish. Filtered hot and cold water provided which I really appreciate so as to not have to buy bottled water. Would return again.

"Best Place to Stay!"

Great little boutique hotel! The staff is so kind and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfy! Definitely the best place to stay while visiting! Our room had a full bathroom with lots of warm water. The lobby has some great rugs and purses made by the amazing weavers in the area.

"Last choice for accommodations in Teotitlan."

Location is good. The owner was very nice.

Property old, shabby, and not kept-up. Garbage in the courtyard. Room and bath needed updating. Dirty behind the toilet. Shower head fell off when I tried to adjust it. Lots of street noise and little privacy. And the room was very hot. Barely acceptable.
