The Parlour, for Alton Towers & the Peak District

Tessa and David made us feel very welcome. It was like a home from home, with added little touches to make our wedding anniversary really special. It was very peaceful with stunning views. It had everything we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away.

Close to the owners house however they didn’t disturb us at all very private

Everything. The location was beautiful, convenience for getting to Alton towers but more than anything we felt welcome and very comfortable. The bath is well worth it too. Oh and Rocket the cat 🖤

Nothing was bad at all, except the Great British Weather.

Was very clean and cosy, was in a lovely quiet location surrounded by cows and other wildlife. Had everything you needed inside the parlour would definitely recommend and come back again. Perfect place to stay for a trip to Alton towers too.

It's in a beautiful area, so peaceful and quite, not far from alton towers which was our main reason for coming up.... love seeing the cows in the field and the chicken who walked around and sat with us. But we did enjoy our stay.

We had to empty the log burned and the fire pit. And wasnt notified where to put our rubbish when we had some. Curtains were very thin so light shone through in the early morning.
