Lola Lodge - Luxury Hot Tub Retreat

Great location and lovely lodge with everything you could need!

Quiet and modern. Nice furnishings, great hot tub

Beds were a little bit uncomfortable. Lots of things listed on Booking.com in their room facilities which were not there. No washing line or airer - would’ve been useful as there’s a washing machine. No games, no bathrobes, no coffee machine etc. would have benefitted from a small vacuum cleaner or a brush particularly if staying for more than a couple of days. A few cobwebs high up but otherwise nice and clean.

Hosts were lovely, we’ve stayed at the site a couple times before this stay, we booked up for 2 nights in a different caravan and wanted to extended our stay, the hosts allowed us in the caravan on the morning which was a huge help as we had our 8 month old baby with us, the caravan was lovely and clean and modern, hot tub was a lively extra and was nice and private at the back of the caravan, big spacious living room and the site is lovely with plenty to do in the area

Door handles were loose and en-suite one didn’t always catch (handle was loose), back of the caravan is overgrown and the trees could have done with being cut back, the tap in the kitchen is wobbly and the en-suite shower only comes out boiling hot, the main bathroom door handle was missing (which was stated on the check in info) on the inside so had no privacy when showering (as you couldn’t shut the door or use the en-suite bathroom, WiFi doesn’t work properly however we already knew this as it wasn’t our first stay on the site.

Lola Lodge was very clean and luxurious and homely. The hot tub was very clean and relaxing

One simple complaint was the shower temperature dial. When trying to change the temperature from hot to cool it stayed hot which wasn't good.

It was clean, comfortable modern with nice decor and a hot tub which was great. The area is great and not far from lots of different places to visit .You can tell the owners take great care and pride in this property, even supplying towels and tea , coffee and sugar among other things . It is definitely a home from home and we will definitely be back

There wasn’t much we didn’t like about the property, it was well maintained apart from there was a few light bulbs out and the toilet door handle was broke and wasn’t able to shut which we had been informed before hand and not a problem for us The outside hot tub area could of been done with being swept before arrival but apart from that it was pretty perfect.

It was a lovely lodge, extremely clean and well kept!
