Parkwood Lodge

The lodge was clean, comfortable and spacious. We were a family of 4 and had a great weekend.

They was nothing we didn't like.

Had trouble with worming the cabin with no instructions...got in touch with kenwick park had they help massively and loved the stay

When we got there it wasn't worm and couldn't turn it the heating on .....but ring kenwick park and sorted it out with every thing

Very spacious and great location for Cadwell Park race track , enough room for a trailer too !

Nice quiet location, Lodge was clean and tidy suited our needs perfectly

Location, size of rooms, beds were comfortable

Loads of cobwebs and bird poo on the outdoor furniture and deck which looked like they'd been there a while. Sliding door handle was broken, but this was already known and was fixed within an hour of notifying them. Issues with hot water, basically had enough for a few minute shower for one of us (there were 5 of us) on one of the mornings and that was it. Absolutely vile smell (dead mouse maybe but we couldn't find it, others have complained about the same sort of smell in 2023 too?!) in the cupboard with the emersion heater etc Supposed to have a toaster but didnt (tbf, should've just messaged them about this and the hot water, I'm sure they would've sorted one out but we were all very busy during our stay) No curtain in the largest bedroom, used a throw over the curtain rail Their idea of toilet roll is 1 roll in each bathroom We stayed in another cabin in 2024 and other than a similar hot water situation we really enjoyed it I would suggest avoiding cabin 66

Location was good.

No hot water and t.v. didn't work when we arrived. This was resolved, but shouldn't have to ring owner it should have been ready for occupation. Oven didn't work, frying pan not compatible with induction hob. No kitchen knives. Only bath towels supplied and one hand towel for 3 people. Nowhere to hang or put clothes in bunk bedroom. No outside furniture on decking apart from 2 tatty chairs. A basic welcome pack would have been nice. I did take all these things up with the owner and had to agree to disagree with his responses.
