A fabulous lodge in a beautiful setting, close to York. The hot tub and other facilities were superb.

lodge was very spacious and clean . it had everything we needed .

unfortunately the mattresses on the beds need replaced. you can feel every spring . we spoke to the staff and unfortunately they couldnt help as was an owners lodge and there was no spare lodges to swap . we had to go out and buy mattress toppers .

"Great lodge, cheap beds."

Lovely luxury property with great facilities

I can’t work out why such a lovely, well kept property would have the cheapest, nastiest mattresses. They were actually unbearable to sleep on. We also had to ask three times before someone came out to fix the hot tub. It’s a shame as it was otherwise a beautiful lodge.
