The Sett on The Wharfe

This was our second visit and we will be back. Brettle was the perfect host. Breakfast was delicious and such a treat. We loved walking into Grassington for dinner! I loved all the local trails for running and especially enjoyed crossing the river to get back to the place. We love the Sette, it’s so cosy and the views make you feel like you are outside all the time!

Everything was great

The property has an exceptional quality with an amazing view. It was warm and cosy in November. The breakfast is superb tailored to each person’s requirements and delivered by super friendly hosts. The location in the Dales is perfect and so close to the amenities of Grassington.

The path to the property is steep and on gravel in parts so does need care, especially in the dark. The bathroom sink is small.

Fantastic weekend break, beautiful Sett very clean and every facility catered for, the hosts cannot do enough for you. Loved the breakfast hamper delivered to the door each morning, with amazing views and peaceful location we will return.

The Sett is in a great location with beautiful views of the river and surrounding countryside. It is comfortable and clean with everything you could need for your stay. To top it off a fabulous breakfast is provided each morning by the friendly hosts.

Truly wonderful view and excellent breakfast. We had car problems when we were there and the owners were so helpful. Highly recomended.

Everything! Our hosts are wonderful folk, the accommodation is a large, roomy studio, very well set up and was very clean. There were some lovely extra touches like fresh flowers, chocolates and homemade slice. Loved the hooks at the dry end of the large shower cubicle to hang wet raincoats and hand washing without wetting their floors. The view is incredible even in the rain and the thoughtfully presented breakfasts were delicious. David’s spicy tomato juice is a must. Their recommendation of visiting the church in Hubberholme was a highlight along with beautiful Grassington.
