Aldejus Homestay

Everything, it was clean, has hot water, the food was very tasty and the people so kind

If i didnt had a plane to catch, i think i never left this place. We only stayed for two nights, but the bungalows are amazing!! So clean, super good matrass and.. hot shower! The food was super good, the staff welcoming and the vibe the island gave was something else. The house reef is very beautifull and there is a lot to see. I highly reccomand staying here.

The homestay was the best and most comfortable we had in Raja Ampat. Very good facilities and food.

The trips are expensive and there is no pricelist for it.

Just enjoyed six nights at Aldejus, diving each day with Tarzan Diving. Aldejus is a lovely homestay with friendly staff and excellent service. There are en suite western bathrooms with hot and cold running water - unusual for the area - good beds, fans and power from 6pm to 6am. Food is excellent and quite varied with fish, chicken, vegetables, fruit and more. The staff will make packed lunches on request for all-day trips. Cold beer and soft drinks are available but do bring anything else you want to drink e.g. sugar free soda and tonic water both of which are difficult to source in Papua. The island itself and Friwen village are quiet and peaceful, and pleasant to walk around. The friendly owner will help arrange transport from Sorong airport and various other activities during your stay e.g. snorkeling, birdwatching etc

We liked everything about the property. If you have special requests in terms of drinks it’s a good idea to bring your own. They will keep them in the fridge for you!

Great stay, lovely hosts, clean huts, tasty food (also coffee, tea, crackers and fruit available all day) and of course the private bathrooms with warm running water for showering sets aldejus apart from most of the other homestays in Raja ampat. Towels are provided and room cleaning was offered to us. Friwen island is pretty and close to Tarzan diving (5-10 min via boat). Pickup at waisai ferry was smooth and the boat ride took approx 40min. Thank you so much for having us and being a part of my birthday celebration :)

Bring mosquito spray :)

Cute beach hut with private, clean bathroom and shower. Food was really good. Also three minute walk down the beach to a beautiful, sandy point and you could snorkel along the reef. They were a couple of cute little kids and dogs at the Homestay . Staff were super friendly and nice. Only 3 cabins Staff baked us a cake for our birthday . Also loved the hammocks on our porch. Really close to Tarzan diving recommend going with them.

Mosquitos

Good smiling staff and nice meal Very well looked after my schedule Very clean room and has own bathroom and shower.

Too many mosquitoes, got bitten more than 50 places in about a week. Bed has mosquito net but it's dirty and smelly. Hammock also smelly.

overpriced!! owners play loud music, no house reef … smelly mud flat in front at low tide, huts on path to village so constantly busy, booked 2 snorkeling trips with owner but he never showed up and no-one else to ask…sometimes not enough food.

Bungalows on a nice beach which are more "upscale" than most Homestays incl. running water + Fan - Island that allows for a bit exploration and great collection of shells - Nice common area which makes it a bit more social - Food was good. A little more variation other than fish/chicken would be appreciated (Tofu/Tempeh)

During rain the roof was leaking on my electronic devices and the bed - A few hangers in the room would be appreciated - The plastic hammocks could use an upgrade
