Amazing view with beautiful location

The views over the mountain are incredible... You can just lie in bed and look out... Breakfast was on the little terrace looking out over the view... Very nice and calming... Sweetest young man took care of us...

Sadly there was some works going on right next door... But to be honest, you can't go anywhere in Sri Lanka without this... It didn't ruin anything by any means... There's no restaurant attached to this stay... But there is a wonderful place just next door with the same incredible view... But be aware... It's expensive 🫰

The view is beautiful.

We booked for 2 nights but stayed only 1 and left because the entire room was covered in mold and smelled either of chemicals or mold. Breakfast: fruits, toast, jam, flatbread, coconut jam pancakes—and that’s it! The owner had personally explained to us the day before that there would be eggs in the hoppers, but there weren’t any! We asked the person who brought us breakfast if the promised eggs would be coming, but they said no. We also had to ask for shower gel, as none was provided. It was very noisy outside, with loud music and a barking dog until midnight. We had to go downstairs to the bar with our neighbors to ask them to turn off the music and calm the dog. There was a laundry area near our room, and staff kept walking back and forth on our balcony. The owner was unfriendly, never greeted us in WhatsApp messages, and although he spoke English, his diction made him nearly impossible to understand.

Front view amazing within the hurt of Ella Town and nearby European style restaurants. However, reach from the main road requires tuktuk which is a great 2 min ride. It's not negative point at all. I would appreciate if the owner clarifies it in the property details. Because of the hilly roads a car ride may feel difficult. The breakfast was amazing and hospitality of the staff who serve it is beyond words. Comfy bed and clean room.

Need few toiletries and insect killer in the bed side drawer. These few items may make it a 4.5 star accommodation.

This has been my best stay in Sri Lanka so far! The view was incredible and the staff was so friendly and generous. They came with breakfast every morning to our terrace and surprised us with something different every morning. We stayed there for 3 nights and I will definitely stay there again if I come back to Ella one day! The hotel is up on the hill but I’m so happy we stayed in a more quiet place rather than in the city center. It was only like a 10 minute walk to town so it not far at all! I work as a travel agent and I will recommend this place to everyone. 10/10 ⭐️ Ellinor
