Misty peak view

The room was clean and well laid out with a big bathroom and space around the sink to put your things. It was lovely to have a kettle and also a fridge to keep our drinks cool. The breakfasts on all three mornings was excellent and filled us up for the day. Can see Ella Rock Pleasant hosts and helpful during our stay

Access to the second guest room was via the shared balcony so there was a lack of privacy (good curtains) Aldi close to other properties do some noise.

Nice clean rooms Breakfast on the Terrasse with view was amazing! The breakfast by self was stunning ! We had the Sri Lanka option. The staff was very nice and helpful

There are restructures ongoing on the neighbor hotel. So there are noises all the day including Sunday’s.

Breakfast was very nice. Very helpful and friendly staff. They arranged transport from Ella train station and showed us some great spots around Ella. The view from the balcony is also great! It’s a 10 minute walk to the city centre through a road which can be quite dark during the night.

There was active construction work happening on and around the building without any previous announcement or warning. This meant that during the day, you couldn’t really relax in your room. Also during the night you hear a lot of dogs from the neighbourhood barking. The towels and bedsheets are also quite worn so it would be good to replace these with new ones. The place has great potential but they shouldn’t receive guests during active construction.

The views are great! As you can see from the photos, it's one of the best views from Ella. But it can hardly be enjoyed when you're fighting sinusitis from the mould and dampness of the room. The guy on arrival seemed friendly enough and helpful, he doesn't own the property from what I gathered.

Mould, all in the bathroom and main bedroom, very very damp it made us both very poorly, giving us both sinusitis. Towels were stained, and bed sheets were stained, I requested new bed sheets over our 4 night stay. They weren't changed once. Also, bed sheets are paper thin. There's not much between you and the mattress below. Location is very much out the way. Any solo travellers be wary as you'll have to walk in darkness for 10 minutes to hit the main strip The room is in front of a building site and acess yo the room is a hazard especially if you have children. I love dogs, but theirs also two sausage dogs that are chained up at night time just below the room. They whine all night and bark early hours in the morning. The accommodation is just two rooms next to each other. It's a real shame because it has such potential to be a good accommodation, especially with its views of ella. It seems the owner is just all for receiving money from the accommodation but not actually re investing it back into the property to improve his guests' time. Would great to see this place have a refurbish and some extra care taken cleaning towels and bed sheets and sorting the damp problem out (not just by painting over it ).

Very comfortable and clean. The viel is amazing. The location is perfect. The host is very helpful. He can organize Taxis tours etc. He told us a lot about sri lanka and we will definetely come back!
