"Good accommodation and surroundings but a bit far from the Rainforest"

The resort is by the river and nicely landscaped. The rooms are a good size and the staff will drive you to the Rainforest Visitor Centre and airport
It is about 1.5 miles to the rainforest.

"Amazing Borneo small five on river and rainforest tours"

Restaurant with view to the river, billiard table, bar with also local beer from kuching, european and local breakfast with fruit plate, supper and dinner included in cruises for additional fee. Tours by boat and into the caves with bats are recommendable. Enough time to walk NP at your own. NP is half an hour walk, but Benerat team brings you there and back by car free of cost. Shutle to and from airport also invluded. On tour to clearwater river take a bath in warm clear water from the cave.
We spent 3 afternoon hours in those march days on bird tower to see just one Barbet at glance. Not the location for the Borneo big five. Let you show by local guide the small amazing animals like bats hanging in the caves in 2m distance, lantern bug, green snails vendemous and brown not sleeping in the trees, frogs, butterflies.

We stayed at Benarat Lodge for three nights and had a great time. The lodge is located close to the airport and offers a free pick-up and drop-off service. The staff help you plan all your activities, and everything is organized perfectly. A special thank you to the very kind manager, who even helped us check in at the airport.

The room was immaculately clean. Aircon was freezing cold. Shower clean. Staff were delightful and super helpful. Cannot recommend this accommodation enough.
Mattresses were very firm but that’s just my taste. I prefer a slightly softer mattress.

Very helpful and friendly manager who takes good care of his guests and organizes tours in the national park. The staff is extremely friendly and supportive. It is a place of great energy and good vibes closely to the park office. Free airport transportation is also offered.
Unfortunately as we stayed there during the rainy season the surroundings were flooded
