Heathery Lodge with Hot Tub

Beautiful surroundings with gorgeous hot tub. If not for the questionable customer service and unclean surroundings inside the lodge, it would be perfect.

We found multiple hairs on our bed and towels, some of them from body parts down below. There were hairs in the bath as well. We call the after hours number and the lady we talked to appeared arrogant, telling us that cleaners went home so she can't help. Thankfully the cleaners manager came from his way home bringing us fresh linen that we had to change ourselves. He was brilliant. He told us reception would send cleaners next mirning to our lodge but no one came. And as we were leaveing, we told reception what happened and once again they pretty much told us they won't do anything but maybe someone will call us - no one did. They didn't as much as write it down anywhere or even move from leaning over the counter. Very dissapointing as we informed them it was for our wedding.

Loved the location, nice and clean.

Outdoor furniture really needs an improvement. The cusions had been left out so were soaking when we arrived and when it eventually dried it was so battered and uncomfortable you couldn't really enjoy the outdoor space. Other than that it's excellent.

The scenery is amazing, being right next to the lake. The lodge was really well equipped, even had some treats for the dogs! It was really spacious, the hot tub was amazing to be in, especially at night when the lake was lit up. I was also surprised with how quiet it was on site.

The only thing I didn't like was the outdoor furniture. Other lodges had dining seating outside which I think would have been a lot better so we could sit outside and have our food on comfier furniture.

Well equipped to a high standard. Nice views across the lake and very peaceful location. Bed's were were comfortable and Everything was clean.

Hot tub chemicals were a little overpowering and very foamy.

Beautiful lodge in a nice quiet area however within good distance of everything you will need. A lovely relaxing few days away
