Centuries-old building located in the city center, ancient style and perfect location. I really like old and lived-in structures and I really liked it. Excellent service

The only flaw is the windows are very poorly insulating, being made of very old wood.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The breakfast was good, and the girls had a lot of fun unlocking our room door with the large padlock—it kept them entertained! Having a generator was a real plus, especially since power outages are common on the island. The manager was incredibly helpful, even walking with us to one of our tour pick-up points. The area around the hotel feels safe, and there are plenty of local shops and restaurants to explore nearby.

The Wi-Fi was poor, which I assumed is fairly typical across most properties in Stone Town.

Очень трудно найти (маленький указатель). Нельзя подлехать на такси. Номер был не очень чистый (песок на полу). Завтрак скромный. Выключали на полдня воду.

Ho prenotato su Booking una camera doppia deluxe e all'arrivo ci siamo ritrovati all'ultimo piano, sul tetto in una camera completamente diversa da quella prenotata, molto vecchia e scomoda (almeno 3 rampe di scale di cui l'ultima per arrampicarsi sulla camera sul letto), sembrava la camera dello staff. Quando ho chiesto di avere la camera prenotata mi è stato detto che non era disponibile e solo a seguito di mie lamentele e minacce di recensioni pessime, il ragazzo alla reception si è deciso a fare una telefonata e cambiarci camera (che stranamente è spuntata fuori). Quindi hotel è buono (anche se a Stone Town abbiamo dormito in una guest house simile per metà del costo) e dovendo recensire la camera deluxe potrei dare un 8 come voto, ma all'esperienza do 4 anche perchè il ragazzo alla reception non è stato assolutamente in grado di gestire la situazione e mi ha persino sbuffato più volte dato che non mollavo sul cambio camera o sconto. Inoltre dovendo partire ore 8,30 e la colazione era ore 8,00 in un bar vicino che apriva alle 8,00, è saltata perchè i tempi di attesa sono stati lunghissimi.

Lage, alte historische Gemäuer und Einrichtung, Nähe zum Nachtmarkt, Klimaanlage ließ sich sehr gut temperieren, sehr hilfsbereite Leute an der Rezeption, frühe Abreise war kein Problem
