Excellent location. Beautiful old house converted to hotel. I forgot a shirt and the staff held it for me. Owner is friendly and helpful.

"Très bon emplacement"

9.0

"Definitely not a boutique hotel."

3.0

The location is good.

The room was very damp and dark and out-dated. The bed felt damp because of the poor ventilation. It’s also noisy because of the street. The bathroom was not clean when I arrived, as there were faeces in the toilet. The staff would not move me to another room or give me my money back so that I could find other accommodation. The place was dirty, moist and uncomfortable to be in. It doesn’t look like the photos - avoid!

"Little gem in the heart of Stone town, good option if you need to say in town for the night"

Staff were super friendly, very small hotel but well done and comfortable!

The shower head could have been changed is it didn’t work very well but otherwise the facilities were fine

"Does the job"

8.0

It’s convenient location, comfortable beds, mosquito nets, friendly staff, good breakfast

I did not like that during our first day, 2h after check in, the staff came into our room to open the curtains, when we were away. It raises concern for theft. Location is reachable only by foot, not by car. Expensive for Stone Town
