This place is truly magical. A very peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by nature — perfect for slowing down and recharging. The hosts were exceptional: kind, responsive, and genuinely caring. They helped with transfers, answered all questions, and even arranged special discounts for nearby excursions. The treehouse itself is beautiful, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. Having a kitchen in the room was a big plus. My favorite spots on the property were the hammocks — especially the ones on the birdwatching tower and right near my room. Absolutely perfect for relaxing and observing nature.

The only small downside was the nearby restaurant — the food wasn’t very impressive. However, this is easily solved by buying groceries and cooking, especially since the room has a kitchen.

The location - it’s next to the road leading to dos ojos Cenote, which is a jungle road but hardened and nice for morning runs when everything is still quiet. There is many more Cenotes around and if you feel like going to the beach, the main road to catch collectivo from is 30 min walk away or 5 min by car. Owners are very kind and happy to arrange things for you!

It could use more hooks to hang clothes on :)

we loved hearing all the birds in the morning and hanging out above the tree canopy in the platform. the staff was very friendly and quickly responded to all of our requests. they are very aware of sustainability and the environment. the location is great if you are interested in visiting all of the cenotes along the rural road the ends with Dos Ojos.

If you are mostly eating in town (Tulum), you will need to drive 25 minutes, 10 minutes along a dirt road. This place is in a great location if you are cooking your own meals and mostly visiting cenotes and/or into bird watching (which we were).

The location of the treehouse was beautiful. If you are looking for a calm and peaceful place, this is the perfect choice. Keep in mind that getting to the city can be a bit complicated if you don’t have a car, but the hosts can arrange transportation if needed. it should be noted, that like for the most of the hotels on Tulum also this one is not close by the beach - so you need some kind of transport. The terrace with the hammock quickly became my favorite spot for reading and watching the sunset. There are several cenotes nearby where you can swim, snorkel, or even dive. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is a small shop connected to a restaurant just a three-minute walk away, where you can buy rice, beans, chips, or drinks—totally fine for me as I was backpacking. There was always someone around to answer questions and offer help.

We liked it all, had a large group and it was smaller quarters but they out up with us beautifully!

Me encantó el diseño, la comodidad. Bien equipada en todo (toallas,sábanas, vajilla, cocina, botiquín, muebles, ventiladores, linternas, juegos para niños y adultos, y demás. Y lo más lindo la cálida atención de Mauricio y Julián. Nos recibieron muy bien y nos aconsejaron en todo lo que necesitamos

Todo me pareció hermoso.

Mauricio und Julian sind zwei wirklich liebe Menschen. Wir mochten sie sehr. Nicht zu aufdringlich aber stets präsent. Ruhiger Ort und viel Natur.

Nur Kleinigkeiten und nichts was dauerhaft stören würde. Die Unterkunft ist nicht in Tulum, sondern 15 Kilometer weg.

Der Gastgeber ist sehr aufmerksam und hilft bei allem was man braucht. 🔝 Das Treehouse hat viel Charme mit Liebe zum Detail. Der Aussichtsturm ist auch toll.

Die Küchenausstattung war etwas sparsam (nur zwei Messer). Bauartbedingt ist es sehr hellhörig, wenn die Wohnungen über einem belegt sind. Der Tren Maya hat laut Besitzer viele Wildtiere vertrieben, weswegen er dem Tren zu Recht negativ gegenübersteht.
