Hideaway Mountain Lodge

The room was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was beautiful, delicious, personalized, made by the owners and outstanding. Location was quiet and like a retreat setting. I actually got word that a family member had died while we were there and I was very thankful that I had a serene setting during that time.

For us, it was a little expensive. I booked a room with "mountain view" and wish we had been on a higher floor with a little better view of the mountains from our room.

Very nice room and very well maintained and clean! Great location and indoor pool and recreation area.

It was a lovely and cozy place for our family to spend the night after a day at Winter Park. My kids enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and the game room. The breakfast was delicious and made to order. The hosts were very hospitable and personable..

The wifi wasn't the best but that's not unexpected in the mountains.

Everything was great; it has a very homey feel, and we loved that we got to choose our breakfast and what time the night before. The owners were very hospitable and great to chat with. Beautiful views, very cozy, and very quiet! The room was wonderful; would definitely stay again!

The only challenge we had was that the Internet was quite slow. We do understand we were out in a valley surrounded by mountains, but I had something I had to do online that night and it took a long time for something relatively simple. Honestly, had I not had to do that, I probably wouldn't even have noticed. That's such a minor thing... beyond that, we loved the place!

The owners are the nicest couple and incredibly attentive. The home-made breakfast (to order!) is great!!

The drive to the lodge was lovely. The lodging itself is beautiful. Check in was easy and the hosts were so friendly! They showed us around the lodge and to our room. Our room was so nice with a comfy king bed and the best feeling sheets ever!! We used their patio area and watched the hummingbirds! And the breakfast is homemade and was absolutely delicious. The hosts were so kind and accommodating.

There was nothing not to like

We booked this as a last minute stay. It is in a beautiful location. It has a nice deck to watch the sunset. The owners were great. They showed us around the property and to our room. We had to check out early. They were kind to offer us a “to go” breakfast. This included homemade banana bread.

Nothing we did not like. We did wish we had more time to play pool and foosball. It shut down at 9pm in order to respect other guests.
