Hideaway Mountain Lodge

Love the location being close to our friends camping near by. Breakfast was exceptional, tasteful, with plenty of choices and they really work with all kinds of dietary needs. Room was a great size, comfortable and very clean

Breakfast was excellent. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. They were very knowledgable about the wildlife in the area. Bedding was extremely comfortable.

What a delightful hidden gem in the Colorado Mountains outside of Winter Park. The owners, Carla and Mike are two of the kindest most personable people we've had the pleasure to meet. We felt like family while staying at Hideaway. The breakfast was made to order using very fresh ingredients, generous portions served hot. The towels are soft and fluffy, bed linens are of high quality and extremely comfortable. We went for a short easy stroll around the pond on the property with blankets of summer wildflowers to enjoy as we walked. We even saw a deer! Outside we were entertained by an abundance of hummingbirds and loved our evening sitting around the firepit visiting with a couple from Scotland.

There was nothing we didn't enjoy.

Very cozy! Great breakfast. Loved watching the hummingbirds buzz around. And it was nice soaking in the hot tub after a long day of hiking.

Absolutely lovely couple, Carla and Mike, who run the lodge and provide many thoughtful touches. There's plenty to do there, from sitting and watching the gorgeous sunset on the terrace too using the indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast was great and the rooms had character. We will definitely stay again if in that area.

Small but nice room with very comfortable bed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were exceptional.

The room was a little stuffy and difficult to cool but we slept fine.

Our room didn't have a air conditioner. Room was still comfortable. Just like it colder when I sleep

Mike and Carla were incredibly friendly and available. They are hands on owners. We appreciated the room's exceptional cleanliness, a hearty, hot breakfast, the linens on the bed and a great king sized mattress. The location is well off the highway and very peaceful. A true hideaway!
