Caracal Lodge

Caracal Lodge was one of the most amazing places we've visited so far. Its remote location, the amazing views when you drive to the property and the stunning beauty of the property itself: almost like heaven. Craig is a great guy and he and his lovely dogs welcomed us. We were sad when we had to leave. Next time we will definitely stay a bit longer.

A great adventure to such a beautiful place. The management and staff are friendly and always on hand should you need assistance. The farm has so much to explore. The accommodation has everything you need and the different chalets are spread out in a way that you makes you feel alone. The area is safe and clean. I would definitely recommend The Caracal.

There is nothing that I did not like about the place

We loved the entire scenery and the host Craig who is an absolute gem of a person who became a part of my family. My entire family were impressed with the hospitality and were very comfortable as it felt like home. A peaceful and relaxed place to stay at with wonderful host and staff like Victor and the friendly ladies.

The fact that cell network was poor.

Rob is the bet manager, super friendly and always available when you need anything.Location exceptional. Dense forest, country thatched cottage, very spacious rooms and the outdoor shower was exceptional, nice pool which is suitable for kids and my grandsons enjoy it a lot. Nice and clean bedding. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchens with a lot of cooking utensils, wild animals like Livingston Eland, zebras, giraffes.

Network coverage but that didn't ruin our holiday.

The farm is incredibly beautiful. Calm and quiet. so love it there. And my dogs love it too. You can watch the animals from the pool - ostriches, antelopes and giraffes stroll by every now and then. There are barely any mosquitoes, but remember to bring tick spray if you want to go walking an the farm - for yourself (and your dog).

A few of the owners dogs got out and came to visit ours. Was not ideal for our scared little girl dog. But the dogs were called back quickly.

The scenery 😍 , the staff were excellent and very accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Things were a bit outdated for the price we paid.
