ATDie Lage, nich weit von Dublin und in der Natur ist perfekt, für alle die Ruhe suchen. Die Wanderrouten in Wicklow mountains sind von hier gut erreichbar. Ich schätze freundliches Empfang und weiße, saubere Bettwäsche. Und sehr gut habe ich gefunden, dass wir die Küche nicht mit anderen Gästen teilen müssten, weil zweites Zimmer nicht vermietet war. Das habe ich in der Beschreibung auf booking.com nicht so verstanden, dass die Zimmer in einer Lodge an jemanden anderen, fremden vermietet werden können.
Die Lodge ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Bad ist sehr klein und es fehlen die Ablageflächen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, aber das Geschirr war nicht super sauber. Kommt mir vor, dass so bleibt, wie die Gäste davor händisch gereinigt haben. Es ist nämlich keine Geschirrspülmaschine vorhanden. Unsere Matratzen waren extrem Hart für eine gute Erholung. Jedenfalls für mich und meinen Sohn. Das ist Schade, weil man in so einer ruhigen Gegend, eigentlich gut und lang schlafen könnte. Das Problem wäre günstig, mit einem Memorieschaum-Matrazentopper zu lösen.
