Tico Adventure Lodge

Clean room, very comfortable bed, washroom was exceptional. Up to date decor, but Needs a TV. Needs a chair so one can sit at the desk to do whatever. Need to put heat in the swimming pool, it was way too cold. My room was by the main road... the traffic is 24/7, too loud for anyone...even with earplugs... you should put in a sound barrier wall... or don't rent that room or any rooms that rest on the edge of road. I won't go back to this place. I won't recommend it either!!!

The grounds are great with lots of greenery and the pool is a nice addition. Our accommodations were adequate and comfortable.

There are areas of the steps that are not very safe. You have to be very careful. Traffic can be annoying as the property is on a major road. A front desk person, Andrea, was extremely condescending and frankly rude to deal with. In all the places I’ve stayed over the years she shocked me with her attitude.

Felt like I was in Costa Rica jungle… Very relaxing very quiet

Lovely hostel with many choices for accommodations. The pool area was beautiful with lots of lush vegetation - very private and quiet center core. The shared kitchen was well equipped and had a bonus toaster! (hard to find in CR) We had a howler monkey family come to visit. Staff were friendly and kept everything very neat and clean. Easy walk to stores, restaurants, the beach, the Saturday morning market and we really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Great value for money. Book in advance - booked up while we were there but never would have known it as there are so many areas to relax in.

The landscaping was great but, for anyone with mobility issues, difficult. We managed because everything else was good but be aware that there are lots of stairs. Made for a beautiful but difficult terrain.

Hôtel magnifique , quand vous arrivez vous êtes émerveillé par cet îlot de verdure et toute la construction en bois exotique, on est dans l'ambiance costa rica. Le coin piscine est très reposant et l'espace cuisine extérieur est génial. Toutes les chambres ont une terrasse avec un hamac.personnels au top. Vous pouvez louer des bodyboard à l'accueil.

notre chambre pour 3 personnes etaient vraiment petites. Les autres logements pour 4 ou plus ont l'air bien plus grands. Mais rien de grave car il y a toute la partie extérieure à disposition. Le wifi ne marche pas bien.

Perfect location. A short walk to the beach and excellent restaurants. Very clean. Lovely staff. Great refreshing pool.
