Off Mountain Accommodation

It was comfortable, well appointed, and clean.

Nothing I didn’t like.

Comfy, warm beds, dishwasher and the tennis court.

No heater in the bedroom.

This place was very clean and give a very relaxed stay. Great place for families .. There is food in the hotel just on the other side of this place and it was great too.

I look forward to returning next year with my family. Staff is really helpful with instructions on finding and entering the cabin with the utmost politeness. Thank you for having us.

Dishes weren't washed properly. It seems like they were just rinsed with water and no sponge or dish washing liquid used. Food stains inside and on the outside on multiple plates and bowls.

Noisy neighbours

Value for money, beds were very comfy.

It is not a kitchen, it is only a kitchenette with no stove. There was hardly any kitchenware without bowls, plates, utensils, etc. We did not use the glass either because pesticide was kept in the same tiny cupboard. Like other comments, we can hear everything from our neighbour. Lucky we had very good neighbours for the first 2 nights, but we had a very noisy neighbour on our final night and affected our sleep.

My kids really enjoyed it. They didn’t want to go back. Overall good experience.

Pub next door and not too far away from Mt Buller

Given it was still not the official snow season and it was pretty dead around with no snow yet, this very basic motel style accommodation is way overpriced. The nearby motel offers similar facilities for a lower price. It was a tiny space and the facilities are basic. There is cold air coming from the bathroom window which you can’t close. You could also see in through the bathroom window vent if standing at the apartment behind which has an elevated position. The toilet flush was broken in the first room we were allocated and although we were eventually moved to a new room with working toilet, it was quite disruptive with a young child in the cold weather to move rooms. I also feel it was already obvious that the toilet flush was broken when we were given the room so I’m not impressed it was allocated to us when not in working order. For the room price I expect much higher standard. There is nothing really to do or see in Merrijig I would stay at Mansfield next time if staying off mountain.
