Trabajan niños tanto en la carga/recogida en lancha como en la preparación de las comidas. Muy caro para lo que es. Difícil que el personal te dé una sonrisa y te dan indicaciones muy pobres cuando preguntas por snorkel en la zona suya. Comida muy regular

The location in the middle of the sea, very beautiful. The room has a stunning view, with a direct access to the sea (even though it is not allowed to directly jump from the balcony). The room is simple but nice. ALL the facilities are on the sea, amazing. They offer the chance to organise several boat trips and, since this year, a PADI course with freelancer instructor. The food is not bad, especially lunch and tea break is good. There is the chance to buy some snacks at their little shop (but no alcohol), price of the snacks is not expensive at all. They provide also extra boat transfers to/from Semporna for a little surcharge (50 RM extra per person).

Menu, even though food is good, is very repetitive. We got grabs served for 4 days out of 5!!! Staff is super unfriendly, at least with western tourists. We noticed they warmly welcome tourists from China but it looks like they don't care much about Western tourists...we tried to smile, to be friendly, we always submitted our request with respect, politely, they simply were cold to us. I am talking of the reception/kitchen staff. The diving/boat staff was cool! They never cleaned our room during our 4 nights stay. They are not well organised: even though we request the PADI OW Course waaaay in advance, they booked the instructor only the day before, so we had only 24h to get in touch with him and get the theory material from him; not all diving equipment is good/safe, please carefully check your tanks/BCD. Their office in Semporna at the jetty is simple terrible, but the employee we talked with was nice.

I stayed here with my family, on my first trip to Sempurna. Had high expectations after seeing a lot of pics from Sempurna and they did not disappoint. The check in and drop off were seamlessly arranged. They also helped arrange our tour while we were there. The first day we went sea walking and the next day we went island hopping with a good amount of time spent snorkelling. There are also activities arranged near the water house, we did a bit of kayaking around the water house. The rooms are clean. The staff are very kind and helpful with good karaoke and music after dinner. Being in the sea, the sea food served during the buffet dinner was really good. This is a good place to take fabulous photos and also to soak in the goodness of the sea and nature. Sempurna was a lovely place, and I met a lot of interesting people. It's not crowded like KK and therefore you get to really enjoy all the sea activities at a pace we find good. The people like all in South East Asia are very kind, welcoming and warm. I'm sure I won't have any second thoughts to choose Maglami-lami Waterhouse if we ever plan another trip to lovely Sempurna.

Beautiful location in the sea. You can snorkle and swim straight from the water house into shallow water. You can arrange the boat tours to the surrounding islands from the Waterhouse. Positive that it was owned by a local Malei family - a lot of the surrounding accommodations seemed owned by Chinese investors.

It lacked some love and interest from the family running it. The food was mediocre: breakfast very limited for western guests, dinner was ok but like in other reviews: much of the same every meal and not as good as maleisian food can be. The accommodation opposite to our room played loud karaoke. Overall for us the semporna area was disappointing after seeing such beautiful places in sabah: crowded with mass tourism, the beautiful islands spoiled with tourists only busy making pictures, little respect for the beautiful nature. Our advice: skip semporna and find a more quiet island, like Mantanani.

Das Familienzimmer war sehr schön und auch sauber! Die Aussicht einfach ein Traum. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war sehr gut, jedoch täglich sehr ähnlich.

Leider haben wir nach einem Tag gesehen, dass das Duschwasser direkt ins Meer fließt. Dies sollte nicht sein und gehört wirklich geändert! Einige Gäste des Resorts haben außerdem Korallen zerstört, Fische gefüttert, geangelt und in Kübeln verenden lassen. Das Personal sollte diesbezüglich besser hinschauen. Nach einem Hinweis unsererseits wurde das Verhalten jeweiliger Gäste unterbunden.

First experience in a Waterhouse was excellent, enjoyed every moment.
