Dinner just so so

Beautiful views, adequate room. Warm waters with free snorkelling gear provided. Cleaning staff were the friendliest and hardest working I've seen in a long time.

Surrounding waters were incredibly polluted! Meal times felt like a war zone with people shoving each other to get to food. Semporna the town is a cesspool of human effluent, pollution, beggars and tour operators contributing to the pollution problems. Reception staff prefer not to be interrupted while on their phones. Also noticed after a day of swimming, that our toilet piping was leaking into the very water we went swimming in. Neighbouring units so close, the noise was terribly disruptive.Wouldn't do again.

Colazione solo ed esclusivamente asiatica, nessuna scelta per colazione occidentale. Assenza di pulizia della camera. Assenza di acqua fresca anche durante i pasti,solo thè caldo o acqua tiepida.

Amazing hotel and location. The room was simple yet very clean and comfortable. I got the sunrise view and I enjoyed waking up every morning very early to enjoy the view from my balcony. The island hopping tours organised by the hotel were also great. Had a great time snorkelling around the hotel as well. Saw so many fish, star fish, corals… Even people who can’t swim can enjoy watching the sea from the jetty or their rooms. The water is so clear that you can see everything. We even saw a turtle passing by while we were dining.

The customers of the hotel need more awareness (by the employees). I saw some tourists leaving chips and noodles packaging in their balcony, the balconies have no barrier so the wind took the plastics into the sea 😡 During the island hopping I was shocked by the plastics and rubbish thrown in the ocean.

- Too expensive for what it’s worth (almost 200€ including fees and boat transfer fees for 2 people/1 night). This was as the most expensive stay on our trip by far and we enjoyed it the least. - AirCon was dripping on the bed - Bathroom was not nice at all, no hot water - Canteen-grade buffet food for dinner, breakfast even worse - Staff is generally nice but not very professional, it’s a very simple family-run BnB - On-going construction of more water houses nearby with high noise levels and very loud music played in the morning - Boat drop off at some random spot in dirty Semporna jetty where kids will take your luggage from the boat and try to scam you - Booked out only because Semporna has gone too viral on Chinese social media

Le lieux est magnifique et les Chambres très agréables et très confortable. le personnel a la réception est super et la nourriture aussi.

Il faut absolument rénover les canalisations. Les eaux sont usagés et le savon se déversent dans l'eau et détruit directement les coraux. Certains clients abimes également les coraux en marchant dessus. Lors des journées excursions organisées avec eux les guides ne respectent pas du tout. Ils jettent leurs cigarettes et plastique dans l'océan. Tous les banc de sable sont remplis de plastique et en un an les coraux ont été considérablement détruits. Pour résumer, l'endroit est évidemment super, mais si vous tenez à protéger les océans et la planète n'y allez pas et n'allez pas non plus à Semporna
