Sigiriya Hillside View Villa

Wir hatten eine sehr tolle Zeit in der Sigiriya Hillside View Villa. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben direkt in der Unterkunft eine cooking class gemacht, die sehr toll war. Ansonsten war die Lage super, das Zimmer sehr sauber und sogar mit AC und das für einen guten Preis. Absolute Empfehlung!!!

The family that run these 2 rooms are so lovely. Able to help with absolutely anything and go above and beyond to answer our questions. Nice breakfast made for whatever time we asked. Located a 15m walk to the main road which made for a lovely peaceful location. We dined at La Dolce Vita which only 10 mins away, on the way to the main road.

Alles war großartig! Der Gastgeber und seine Eltern waren äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit! Auch Transporte mir Tuktuk und Taxi wurde für uns zu tollen Preisen organisiert. Der kleine Garten vor der Unterkunft ist sehr nett und die Lage mit Blick auf den Lions Rock ist auch großartig!

Sehr freundliche & zuvorkommende Gastgeber, traumhafte Location mitten im Grünen mit Blick auf Lion Rock und wunderschönem Garten. Morgens beim Frühstück hüpfen Affen in den Bäumen rund ums Haus herum (aber ohne einen großartig zu stören, sehr unterhaltsam), absolut malerisch, wie eine kleine grüne Oase. Das Zimmer ist extrem sauber, die Klimaanlage funktioniert bestens und es lässt sich alles problemlos mit den Besitzern über WhatsApp absprechen - könnte nicht besser sein, ein absolutes Highlight! :)

Alles bestens - ein wärmeres Licht würde das Zimmer noch ein bisschen gemütlicher machen, aber das ist ja eh nur Geschmackssache :)

The hosts are exceptional in terms of welcoming us and making us feel at home. Welcome chai and coffee plus they took us on a guided walking tour to the dam and surrounding areas at no additional charge.

This place is amazing, a highlight of our trip. The family and the location was wonderful, you are only a 10 minute walk to the main road so it’s peaceful with great views of lion rock. The family welcomed us with such smiles and enthusiasm to show us the local area. If we ever come back to Sri Lanka we will definitely be coming back here.

J'ai adoré ces 2 jours passés sur place. La vue était magnifique. L'endroit était très calme. Certains diront que c'est un peu éloignés du centre. Pour ma part, je préfère. D'autant plus qu'il y a un bon petit restaurant à moins de 100 mètres. Je me suis promené à plusieurs reprises aux alentours. Le petit déjeuner était très bon. La famille a organisé pour moi le transport aller-retour pour la visite du Lion's Rock à l'aube, tour comme mon départ le dernier jour. La chambre était confortable. Je recommande.

We loved our stay here. There are only 2 rooms which was great for our family they have a great area for us to sit and have a drink and chat and have the amazing breakfast that they provide in the morning. There is an amazing view of Sigiriya Rock and the owners are just lovely so accommodating and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
