Sigiriya Hillside View Villa

Il posto è stato stupendo, la gentilezza e l'attenzione del personale senza uguali in tutta la nostra vacanza di 10 giorni. Colazioni buonissime e differenti ogni giorno (il giorno di visita a Pidurangala all'alba ci hanno atteso e si sono informati sull'orario di ritorno per servircela comunque). Abbiamo consigliato questa sistemazione a tutti i nostri amici e la consiglieremmo a chiunque. Leggermente defilato dalla strada principale, per noi questo è stato un punto a favore, con una vista stupenda giusto all'imbocco della proprietà. La nostra stanza aveva una piccola veranda giusto davanti all'ingresso dove abbiamo fatto colazione entrambi i giorni davanti al giardino curato e verde. Nella stanza c'era aria condizionata e zanzariera e il bagno aveva tutto il necessario (acqua calda funzionante). Un posto tranquillo e perfetto per visitare Sigiriya e Pidurangala.

La guesthouse est plutôt bien placée avec une très belle vue sur Lion’s Rock depuis l’entrée. Les hôtes sont adorables, toujours à vouloir nous aider et les petits déjeuners étaient très bons.

El personal era muy amable y la ubicación excelente.

Nice homestay run by a lovely family who are always ready to help and are super friendly. They arranged a tuk-tuk for us every day. The place is located on a quiet street in front of the rice fields, with a beautiful view, surrounded by a peaceful garden

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an einem großen Reisfeld mit Blick auf den Lion Rock und Pidurangala. Vor dem Zimmer ist eine Terrasse mit Blick in den Garten. Sehr ruhige und schöne Gegend und trotzdem fußläufig zur Hauptstraße. Das Zimmer war blitzsauber und großräumig. Die Familie war total herzlich, Kavindu und seine Mutter haben uns mit einem warmen Woodapple Juice empfangen und haben sich liebevoll um uns gekümmert, uns alle Unterstüzung angeboten. Das Frühstück war unglaublich lecker, total authentisch und bisher das beste Frühstück was wir hatten. Bei unserer Abreise haben sie uns das Frühstück sogar früh morgens zum Mitnehmen fertiggemacht und ein Taxi zu einem sehr guten Preis für die Weiterfahrt organisiert. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Der einzige Kritikpunkt war das für uns etwas harte Bett, sonst war alles perfekt!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage. Wenngleich die Unterkunft etwas abseits von der Hauptstraße liegt, ist alles wirklich gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

Outstanding value for money. This was our favourite place during our three weeks in Sri Lanka. It is located in a quiet side street in Sigiriya. The room was very clean, we were provided soap, toilet paper and there was even a hairdryer. The water pressure was really good. There was also a mosquito net and two individual blankets, rather than one big one. The (complimentary) breakfast was really delicious and we got something different every morning. We had a view of Pidurangula and were able to enjoy the local wildlife in the morning, with two different species of monkeys, peacocks and a land monitor being present. Though fear not - the bathroom vent and drain had netting/drain were covered, so there were no lizzards visiting at night. The owners were very kind. We were always able to reach them with any questions and they organized tours for us for very fair prices. While they volunteered organizing activities, they were never pushy about it. We would definitely stay here again and can't recommend this place enough.

El lugar muy tranquilo y personal super atento! La chica es encantadora! El demasiado estaba buenísimo!

La habitación era muy grande y espaciosa, todo súper limpio y el baño muy limpio también (que es de agradecer). La familia que nos acogió es encantadora y se preocupaban mucho por que estuviéramos a gusto. El desayuno estaba delicioso

A quiet stay just out of town was a 15-20minute walk into sigiriya, lovely hosts providing great breakfast and willing to help with anything during our stay ! Great value for money !
