Rock Shade Chalet- Sigiriya

Another fabulous find. Staff were great friendly and helpful. it was close to glamping but more comfortable. Food was great and brought to our room. A real most do experience.

Repas un peu simples..

La posizione non è immediatamente chiara dalle mappe, lo staff é sempre pronto ad aiutare e a fornire indicazioni. La gestione è molto accogliente e fa sentire subito a proprio agio. Offrono cucina locale preparata al momento, molto buona e adattabile alle diverse esigenze degli ospiti. La struttura è immersa nella natura, il che rende l’esperienza particolare e suggestiva; proprio per questo la pulizia potrebbe essere migliorata. Il bagno è aperto e completamente a contatto con l’ambiente esterno, con la presenza di rane e insetti

Our stay at Rock Shade Chalet was a truly amazing one. The ambience was super special. The facilities are of high standards. The environment was very calm. A lot of birds, including peacocks, were in the garden. Lasantha is a very nice person. He was always attentive to our requirements. They made special meals at our request.

Nothing special to mention.

It is a super quirky building , wonderful staff and food , very peaceful surroundings.

It’s not really like the pictures, the rooms smell very damp and whilst an outdoor bathroom seems lovely not with all the mosquitos and insects that come with it. It needs some TLC, the shower barely worked.

We spend here two days, wonderful place into the jungle! The territory is full of wild animals and birds. You should love wild nature and you’ll really enjoy this place. Host was very friendly and welcoming!

The canopies are slightly dusty, and the shower and toilet can be slightly repaired.
