Rock Shade Chalet- Sigiriya

Location remote away from everything. Value for money. Open bathroom, but still private. Wild life about the place. Mosquito nets around beds, Swimming pool. Really helpful staff who did their up most to help

English breakfast, I should of asked for Sri Lankan breakfast. Evening meal, meat a little overcooked, the venue doesn't sell alcohol but we took our own. Doors on bedroom a bit stiff to open and close.

The place to be in Sigiriya!! Nos quedamos enamorados del lugar ! La recamara “Chalet Superior” con incredible vista a Lion Rock nos encanto. El hotel se encuentra en medio de la naturaleza por lo que es el lugar ideal para descansar y poder despejarse del ruido. Las recámaras impecables, confortables, limpias, con duchas abiertas y decoración muy naturaleza. El personal increíble, siempre atentos de cada detalle y cuidando al máximo nuestro confort, el restaurante delicioso y a buen precio. Mi hija de 3 años se quedó enamorada del lugar y nosotros también, recomendación quedarse mínimo 5 días para aprovechar el lugar, la calma y visitar bien Sigiriya que tiene mucho por ofrecer! Nos quedamos con muchas ganas de regresar!

Le personnel est super. L’architecture est originale. La piscine fait du bien surtout après avoir visité les sites touristiques sous la chaleur.

Un peu excentré par rapport à Sigiriya mais cela permet d’être au calme.

El espai on esta situat es increible, envoltat de naturalesa i fauna. Lasantha, el propietari, i el seu equip han estat encantadors! Ens han explicat coses de la seva cultura, tradició, els animals de la finca, les fruites dels abres que ens envolten i fins i tot hem pogut preparar el nostre menjar preferit fins ara el Pol Sambol, molt bo ;) Si vols viure el que es Sri Lanka, es el lloc perfecte. Gràcies per tractar-nos tant bé!

It was quiet, clean and comfortable. Hot showers, lots of water pressure. Friendly staff and the food is good as well

Ein schöner Ort mitten in der Natur mit rustikalem Flair. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt, um die umliegende Umgebung zu erkunden - z.B. den Lions Rock oder Pidurangala Rock. Die Mitarbeiter waren extrem zuvorkommend und haben und bei Fragen und Problemen (z.B. beim Starten unseres Tuk Tuks) geholfen. Abendessen wurde immer frisch für uns zubereitet und hat wunderbar geschmeckt.

Every detail was amazing, the stuff was very kind and friendly.
