Eine wundervolle Unterkunft, eine unserer liebsten in Sri Lanka. Extrem freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, wir durften sogar an einem Abend zu zweit einen Kochkurs vor Ort machen der viel Spaß gemacht hat. Das Superior Zimmer hatte zwei Doppelbetten und war absolut traumhaft mit Ausblick bis zum Lions Rock. Alles sehr sauber. Wir würden am liebsten wiederkommen.

All of the staff are so friendly and helpful. The manager especially is so responsive via WhatsApp and helped us with anything we asked. This was a very unique stay for us. We loved the tranquility, the wooden doors, the outdoor bathroom, the fly nets around the bed, and the pool is a huge bonus. The location is 15/20 minutes out of Sigiriya town but PickMe app works for taxis (uber doesn’t).

was one of the best or the best accomodation we had during our trip in Sri Lanka. Perfect location to visit sites such as Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa and Hurlu eco park with elephants. The location of the bungalow is quite pictoresque. But most importantly hospitality was outstanding! The owner/manager is a very generous and warm hearted guy and he was flexible check out time. He also showed and told us about local plants and fruits with tasting of course. The place also has a kitchen and you could have a great chance to try delicious sri lankan meals. If you brave enough you could try to hit the cricket ball! Highly recommended! 10/10

We loved the nature and the spacious surroundings. The pool was a lovely way to cool down on hot days, and towels were provided. The room was nice, with a comfortable bed. You do need the mosquito net, as there are some bugs, which isn’t surprising given the cracks and open spaces they can get through. The outdoor bathroom was really nice, with a warm shower. The manager was extremely helpful and friendly, and the food in the restaurant was good.

We had a few hours of rain while we were there, and the inside of the room got wet. As mentioned, there are cracks in the wooden walls, so water can come through. However, the staff dried everything for us and provided us with everything we needed. When going to the outdoor bathroom at night, you’ll see plenty of insects and frogs, but that’s part of staying so close to nature, so we didn’t see it as a real negative.

Rien, c’était parfait

Le fait de dormir dans une cabane dans les arbres est toujours marrant. Le jardin est un véritable verger, avec ses nombreux fruits. Et également un zoo avec ses nombreux animaux. La possibilité de manger de bons plats dans un endroit qui est assez isolé. Mais surtout, la gentillesse de l'équipe qui vaut, à elle seule, d'aller dans cet hôtel. Lasantha a été absolument adorable : il nous a aidé à organiser nos journées en réservant des véhicules et des safaris, il a discuté avec nous, joué avec les enfants et m'a même accompagnée à la pharmacie. Il fait tout pour que le séjour soit parfait et il réussit, c'était parfait !
