"Ideal positioning to explore the coast from Charleston up to the Heaphy Track."

The Kawatiri Cycle Trail is a 2 min ride away and the retreat is perfectly positioned between Westport and Charleston for sightseeing. The room is very well appointed with a lovely kitchen and bathroom, and nestled in native bush. The hosts Bob and Dianna were friendly and had great talk..

We were surprised that the outlook from the retreat was Bob and Dianna's house. A "wear-a-robe" stay.

Bob is an interesting man, and a good host. The facilitées are good, spacious room and very good bathroom. Lovely sitting on the desk too.

Peaceful, rustic and charming. Close to the coastal beaches and plenty of birdsong.

We loved this property but a little more sea view would have enhanced it.

"Fantastic little hideaway"

We loved that it really was a retreat, fabulous location for our bike rides & walk down to the beach & stunning views. It was very peaceful. Dianna & Bob were very accommodating & friendly.
