We should have stayed longer

Beautiful location! Quiet and peaceful. Magical with the sheep and donkeys there. Best sleep we have had in Ireland!

Water in shower drains slowly.

The location was beautiful, surrounded by mountains farm land and a lovely stream

The hut, although very charming is in need of some TLC and a makeover. The outside area needs tidying up and it would be a good idea if they could put a small level graveled area for sitting on

So secluded and peaceful with gorgeous accommodation. Bed was really comfy, shower was fantastic. Loved it

I can't think of anything

We stayed in The Hazel Hut for a weekend hike to Croagh Patrick. The hut is approx. 12 min drive to Croagh Patrick car park. It is also located in a remote but wonderful and peaceful place in the fields with stunning views of the mountains, the fields with sheep and donkeys, and a nearby creek. The hut itself had the essential stuff we needed, and the wood burner stove kept the place warm on chilly evenings. Thank you Lisa & Chris.

We had an amazing stay at the beautiful Hazel Hut. The location was magical, with Croagh Patrick in full view through the windows of the hut every morning. The sheep and donkeys really added to the country atmosphere too :) The hut itself is gorgeous and has everything you could need or want. We spent one of our evenings enjoying the landscape, drinking tea and reading some books left in the hut. It is only a twenty minute drive from Westport, so we also enjoyed heading into town for dinner. The next morning, we set off to climb the mountains. Would highly recommend it, and we are already looking forward to paying another visit soon. Thank you so much x
