Wood fired hot tub was wonderful, bed was lovely and the kitchen worked great.

The lounge area wasn't comfy or practical - no area/table inside to eat and the big leather couch wasn't inviting.

It was remote, off the grid, time to unwind

No fan therefore too many mosquitoes and flies The shower temperature wasn’t regulated. Was either very cold or very hot The response time being on site was bad - we had a bat in the room and nobody came to see it and it was 100% there nesting before we arrived

"Beautiful setting, poor service and low value for money."

The cottage, location and scenery.

Staff handling check in weren’t considerate and didn’t try to assist the smallest requests. Making it special for our wedding evening (putting out flowers/chocolates, lighting the fireplace just before we arrive, same with the hottub) The welcome book was basically just stating what you’ll be fined, what you can’t do, etc. This didn’t set the right tone for the weekend.

We really enjoyed the stay.. Everything was perfect.

Only one thing that I would like criticise on is the bed. A better mattress for the bed. We could feel all the springs from the current mattress.
